Posts: 8 Joined: 2022-07-01	You don't need to know more than the very basics of Music Theory in order to start composing honestly, there are plenty of self-taught composers around, the first name that comes to mind being Nobuo Uematsu. I personally think hands-on experience with an actual Piano (and maybe any other Instrument may help but for actual inputting notes into a DAW you will require a Piano keyboard nonetheless) is still the best way to learn melody structure and get creative quickly, or maybe that's just me and I'm wrong, idunno. Still haven't tried making anything videogamey or melodically involved as I'm stuck with electronic music, plus I kinda suck at it and I never have good ideas.

Posts: 8 Joined: 2022-07-01	Started playing Touhou Fantasy Maiden Wars Scarlet a couple of days ago. Also downloaded a bunch of RPG Maker Games from some wiki and I'll now try to play Mothlight. Wish me luck!

Posts: 8 Joined: 2022-07-01	Something something sharp edges are bad for your psyche, so I've heard... I think may just be petty hipsterism but who knows, not a graphics nor an interior designer. Personally don't mind round avatars and profile images, they have their charm, especially if and when the rest of the UI complements them. What I really hate is wasted space, lack of contrast in fonts and important UI elements and blinding backgrounds.

Mostly a lurker so I wont post much at all, I just exist outside of the current approved and sanitized Internet zeitgeist. I'm too autistic to have irl friends and not autistic enough to jump into random discord servers, one could say I barely exist in both reality and fiction, and they would be absolutely correct.
