Posts: 8 Joined: 2022-06-28	Finally a car thread! I really like my current 2005 Honda Civic EU8. It's so far my first car, but it has been really reliable and a good car to drive thus far. Despite with the fact it was poorly maintained by previous owners and has a problem with the A/C. It also has some rust, which is almost obligatory for an almost 20 year old car in Norway, but I did repair some of it with help from some people i know irl. Aside from that, I do miss my dad's old Volvo V70 from 2006. That thing was the comfiest car I've ever sat in, but it was a repair hog and it was approaching almost 300 thousand kilometres, meaning the engine was tired and using too much petrol. My dad actually only got rid of it due to repair costs, otherwise that Volvo might've been my first car, not the Civic I currently have.

Posts: 8 Joined: 2022-06-28	WebP irritates me to no end. Whenever I want to download an image off google images, oftentimes it only gives me the option of WebP. Do I really need to spend time converting some shitty format just to view the image? It isn't even industry standard, like PNGs, JPEGs and GIFs, which are the formats I expect to be served. WebM seems to be better supported in my experience, but I still encounter issues with it from time to time. I'm still waiting to find someone aside from 4channers, elgoog and redditors who really like the those formats, since I genuinely haven't found any good reason to use those over the standard formats like MP4, PNG and JPEG, which just works as it should. Whatever happened to making stuff easy to access?

Posts: 8 Joined: 2022-06-28	There are also people that genuinely find the idea of driving a lorry all over Europe as a fun thing in general. I mean, that's why people sometimes choose it as a career. xD I personally find driving irl (cars ofc) and in games as fun in general, which is probably the audience ETS2 is targeted at. Some don't and that's alright, but ETS2 is a pretty finicky but also fun game to mess with sometimes imo.

I may spend some time here, since this seems like a nice laid-back place to post on. As for me, I'm a person who yearns for simpler more laid back internet stuff that reigned supreme many years ago and is tired of the monochromatic, real-life reflected stuff, and the endless advertising that's all over the internet today. I hope that this place will be a nice retreat from this, and look forward to getting to know you people!

Posts: 8 Joined: 2022-06-28	Ooh, always nice to see an MC classic server! Though that does beg an obligatory question on my end: Why not on classicube? That seems to be the most popular solution for a modern MC classic replacement after Mojang shut down the multiplayer.
