Posts: 45 Joined: 2022-06-16	yeah, kitkat was my everything back then. but it's interface is too bright compared to other 4.x versions. about that, compa, coding and that kind of stuff, it was just one of my parent's friend introducing me to html/css/js when i was like 9. got bored of coding 'till i downloaded smilebasic on my n3ds. and yeah, niche circles is often something you stumble upon when you're a kid and end up taking a liking to it.

Posts: 45 Joined: 2022-06-16	of course there is some sensibility to sound involved, but not only. music is math. just a loot of math. i haven't checked, but the math teacher of a friend, learnt piano just to be able to prove that music can be created through a formulae he created, and the music apparently souded more than decent. slapping the sounds in your head in a computer or a scoresheet is as hard as playing them with an instrument (i also played clarinet for quite some time), but it becomes easier with some ear training. also, if a short sample with a few notes sound good, this does not mean it will do good music. since music is all about surprising the listener, you can't just use a sample and loop it, you'll need to do slight modifications to this sample, change octave in the bass track or add a carefully crafted melody on top of it. but don't abuse and put too many surprising things in your song else the listener will just end up getting lost

Posts: 45 Joined: 2022-06-16	this is not really a game technically speaking, but it could be fun anyway in this "game", you explain and try to sell something either completely useless or something that serves the same purpose as something elbe but does it the wrong way. try to explain why it could actually be a good idea as if you were trying to raise funds for a kickstarter. let me give you an example: the html5/wasm-based web browser nowerdays, more and more apps are made using web technologies, to a point where some OSes are almost exclusively designed to run that kind of apps (chrome os iirc before it merged with android, firefox OS, kaiOS...) the whole point of these kind of apps is that they are truly cross-platform, so the browser could run everywhere, and since this browser would be built with web technologies in mind, it would allow everyone with a decent internet connection to have a browser running in their browser to allow them to surf internet. another example i found in the mock catalog book which gave me the idea of this "game": the double spoon so, we all agree that drinking a soup with big spoons that don't fit entirely in the mouth is a pain, because you'll have to sip usin the small extremity of the spoon and half of the content of the spoon falls on the sides of the spoon or drip on your chin. well, you won't have to waste food anymore with the double spoon. this is a spoon with a bigger spoon under it that collects the falling soup so you can drink it afterwards.

Posts: 45 Joined: 2022-06-16	when i was younger, i quickly realized using my real name was not a smart move at all, so i started looking for a good username. I knew it needed to be original enough so i could use it everywhere without it being already used by someone else, and short enough so people could remember it. I thought about it for days without coming up with anything good until i named my new pet on fantasy life. i had called it hèrédos, just because it sounded good for a big bird, but the firs letter was the same as my real name and it matched the criteria i wanted. so i started using it on scratch, then youtube, google, discord, gravatar, etc. my profile pic has a more interesting meaning though. it's an orange cat with a laurel crown and/or a red and blue cape the actual one was drawn by my sister and she added tons of little references on it like to explain. so: the orange is because it's my favourite color, the cat because my family always had cats, the laurel crown or the toga/cape because my name is the one of a roman emperor the same goes for the position of the cat, doing a roman salute and the night background has two meanings: the first is a continuation of my old profile pic where my cat was in space, and the second is a little signature from my sister as her name means light, so i am the one with the dark.
