Polls and mood avatars are probably not returning though. Former I don't know if it would even get much use apart from shitposts, anything more meaningful than that is hard to describe in ~5 vote answers and you'd be better off with a thread where people instead answer with a more full formed post. Mood avatars I don't see much point in, never really used that feature on Acmlmboards and I don't see the work for it to be enough. Some features I do however want to see would be more minor things like a thread preview in newreply.php, and adding some nerdy statistics pages. Oh and maybe reimplementing the RPG system. But I dunno. My high school work project next semester is most likely going to be a forum software written entirely from scratch (using a modern templating engine and whatnot, but with a rudimentary frontend design akin to this one, backend would be the focus of the project), so I may or may not be switching over to that when it's done. Shame there's a (pretty typical for 2022) lack of activity, though. Still, no point complaining about lack of activity because that solves nothing except more dwindling and sitting on the same rock. I honestly don't find the lack of activity here to be that big of a deal though. People will post when they want or have the time to, I'd hate for people to post here simply for the sake of drumming up activity.

It'd be nice to truly see a clone/'remaster' of AcmlmBoard that y'know, actually has some sanity from the ground-up, rather than being a cleanup of a fork of a fork of a cleanup of a fork of a fork of a fork of a cleanup of a fork of 1.92. Mood avatars are just a fun little thing, nothing special. To be fair, you could probably do it with CSS pseudo-elements if you were determined enough. ~~Also where the fuck's my background?~~ nvm, DST Root Certificate X3 is bullshit, I forgot to update certs on Windows 7

I'll make some advice for posts/threads... if it's on your mind, and you have even just a small thing to talk about it, go for it! Like, a lot of people (especially nowadays) don't seem to get that you don't need to write an analytical, emotionless essay for everything or otherwise fear 'low quality'. Most people are coming to a board like this for laid back discussion anyhow (obviously when/if personal projects are shared, both constructive feedback and emotive encouragement are welcome), so being indepth and refraining from funposting and inside jokes and whatnot isn't necessary (unlike on say, a customer support forum). I sound like I own the board, christ... Guess I just wanna see it go places X3
